Kid's Bathroom Makeover on a Budget!

Remodeling can be SO expensive! I sometimes feel the saying "champagne taste on a beer budget" 100% applies to me. Being the HGTV junkie that I am, I watch all of these people say they're doing things "on a budget" and think their "budget makeover" is my "champagne taste". Even though I do like the nice things and there are a lot of things I don't think you should skimp on the quality, it is definitely possible to have nice things and not pay an arm and a leg for them. Shopping the clearance section at home improvement stores is one of the ways we save a lot of money when doing projects. You might not get exactly what you initially wanted but as long as you have an open mind and a general idea of your design you'll be able to find what you need and sometimes it'll be even better than your original plan. The biggest way to save money on any remodel is to do as much as you can yourself. Paying a contractor or handyman adds up qu

Spicy Breakfast Burritos

I've been making my hubby breakfast items to grab out of the freezer on his way out the door for work. I've made breakfast sandwiches with Canadian bacon, egg and cheese. There's been two different kinds of breakfast burritos, one with turkey breakfast sausage and one with chorizo. These chorizo breakfast burritos are hands down his favorite so that's what I plan on continuing making him until he gets sick of them and wants something else.  Making your own "convience" foods is not only cheaper but it's typically a lot healthier. You can adjust ingredients to your liking or honestly with whatever is on sale. If you don't want to use chorizo you can easily swap for a different meat like turkey or pork breakfast sausage. I've seen that Jennie-O makes a turkey chorizo which would definitely be healthier and lower in fat but in typical Wyoming fashion I can't find it anywhere!  Depending on how cheap you can find the ingredients the average pric

Whole House Paint Color Scheme

Choosing a paint color for a room in your house can be difficult, deciding on a whole house paint color scheme is even harder! When our offer on our current house was accepted by the seller I immediately started looking at different paint color options for every single room. I'm pretty sure I changed my mind about a thousand times. My poor sister probably got paint color images texted to her every hour. I even had a note on my phone that had each room categorized with what I wanted to do with it, which of course has been edited daily. I seriously became obsessive. So if you are sitting there changing your mind and looking at a million different color swatches on your computer or phone not knowing which one would look the best in whichever room you are attempting to update next I am here to help! My best piece of advice is to narrow down a few paint colors you keep going back to and search online for reviews of that color from other bloggers and/or interior designers. This helped
