30 Dinners for Around $5 Each!

If you have been following my blog or my Instagram page then you know how much I love meal planning because of the money savings it can bring if done correctly. Well in an effort to save even more money on food I wanted to come up with a bunch of meals that were around $5 each. Yes, you read that right $5 each!  Now these meals are meant to feed about 4 people. Easy Freezer Meal Prep for Summer Grilling

Y'all I have to brag on my big sis for a minute. I have been helping her with meal planning and better grocery buying habits and it has saved them TONS of money! Now that she's been meal planning for a couple of months I wanted her to try some freezer meals.  Freezer meal cooking/prepping can be very intimidating and to be honest it can be down right exhausting. Is it worth it in the end? Most definitely! Do I despise it by the end of prep today? You're darn right I do! So what's a good way to try freezer prepping without spending an entire day in the kitchen? Recipes that don't require any precooking and only mixing and chopping!  Also, writing the ingredients down on the freezer storage bag itself can definitely make things go faster because you won't be constantly looking through your phone for each recipe. So sit down and write them out on each bag prior to starting your prep work.  * Picture courtesy of my sister! Y'all I'm like a proud Mama
